Description
This pattern uses Tunisian crochet techniques and was designed to be made with a regular, short crochet hook.
Yarn used in sample:
Windy Valley Muskox Qiviuk
(Musk Ox 100%)
“Natural” – 6 balls (1,080 m)
Wingspan: 115 cm / 45 inches
Hook: 5 mm (H Hook)
Construction:
Guinevere starts off with a Tunisian Knit band that lends a lovely, stretchy and squishy feel to the shawl and makes it comfortable to wear.
Then Tunisian Simple stitch rows are added with a simple, repeating lace detail, building up the depth of the shawl.
The final Tunisian row contains short row shaping to add the points to the lower edge. These points are super handy when it comes to blocking the finished piece.
