King Lir, named for the famed Irish king of folklore, is a colour-work shawl with a lacey difference.

The wingspan of this shawl is 170 cm / 67 inches.

Description

This pattern uses Tunisian crochet techniques and was designed to be made with a regular, short crochet hook.

Construction:
King Lir is created in a series of Tunisian crochet panels that are each wedge shaped. Once the first wedge is complete, the next wedge is worked off the side of it, and so on until your shawl fans out into a half-circle.
