Description

This pattern uses traditional crochet techniques and was designed to be made with a regular, short crochet hook.

Yarn used in sample:
Cushendale DK
(Wool 100%) 11 wpi
“Pink Heather”

Sizes (Bust inches): 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54
Yarn Requirements: 1500 m, 1500 m, 1700 m, 1700 m, 1850 m, 1850 m, 1960 m, 1960 m, 2100 m, 2100 m, 2230 m, 2230 m, 2300 m
Hook: 5.5 mm (I Hook)

Construction:
Renanaree is worked bottom up. The first piece to be constructed is the Hip Cable Band. This is a great way of gauging which size to do. If the cable fits confortably around yout hips, you’re good to go.

After that, the body is constructed using crochet moss stitch (1 UKdc/US sc, 1 ch, repeated), and the hood also made of moss stitch is added and seamed.

The cabled front is then added and working into place with the join as you go method.

After which, more cables and moss stitch make up the sleeves.
