Description

This pattern uses Tunisian crochet techniques and was designed to be made with a regular, short crochet hook.

Yarn used in sample:
Alpaca/Silk/Cashmere 4ply
Alpaca 70%, Silk 20%, Cashmere Goat 10% (14 wpi)
“Teal Green” – 3 skeins (1100 m)
“Canopy Green” – (30 m)

Wingspan: 155cm / 61 inches
Hook: 5 mm (H Hook)

Construction:
Bel is worked from the centre out. Starting with a magic loop each row of Tunisian Simple stitch columns grows in number using a clever combination of relief stitches and hidden increases.

The textures edge is worked in similar fashion, with the cheery bobbly cnupps added as the last row of Tunsian Simple Stitch columns is worked.
